I have an AT&T 933 speaker phone which signals "Power Failure" even with a new battery and when plugged into known active power outlet. I actually have two of these phones and the results are the same on both. After an hour of telephone calls to AT&T today I was advised that since I have Comcast not AT&T for my phone service, they will not respond to my complaints. Their web sites essentually say the same, as you can't lodge a complaint if you don't have AT&T service. I was advised by a support rep to "complain to the place where you bought it". Of course they can be of no help. This is an unconscionable position for a major service provider /manuafacturer. If you won't support the hardware with your name on it, don''t offer it to the public.
