Rogers Cable Scam

Anyone who has a Roger's digital box can watch NASA TV on ch 254 ... this is a FREE video link from NASA. It is free to any cable company that wants to carry the feed. However in November Rogers will be charging anyone who wants the channel. This is totally illegal. Nasa provides the channel to any cable carrier for free ... no charge! Rogers is not allowed to ask anyone to pay for the channel ... they must make it available to their subscribers for free. NASA is a US government agency and is funded by tax dollars. The channel is provided to the public as a way to educate and for the agency be transparent. For Rogers to ask money to view the channel is against the law.
This is another way Rogers Cable is trying to squeeze every nickle they can from their viewers. Not so fast Rogers ...... both the CRTC and NASA has been informed of your intent. My guess is the channel will disappear off the dial very soon. Shame on you Rogers.
